The Grand hosted our extended family of 17 for lunch, for a 50th wedding anniversary for myself and my wife. Obviously it was important that it went well, and it certainly did! Food was copious and excellent, service attentive but not intrusive. Everyone had a great time.It really could not have been better.

Absolutely! The Grand, and Rubys, is an exclusive venue, meaning when you host your party here the whole space will be just for you and your guests.
Of course! Although The Grand itself is a stunning setting for your party, you can add your own twist to the decor. Whether you’d like to add a special backdrop for professional event photos, turn The Grand into a Christmas grotto, or even decorate in blues or pinks for a gender reveal, it’s all possible.

The ballroom at The Grand can fit 180 seated dinner guests, or up to 400 guests without seating. But we’re not just a large party venue — smaller guest lists are welcome and we can curate the space to fit anywhere from 20 to 400 guests.

Absolutely! We know no party is complete without great music, so our team can help you select the perfect DJ or live band for your event. Looking for something a little different? From dancers to jazz bands, magicians to famous speakers, our team can help you bring your vision to life.

The Grand offers incredible party menus to complement your event. From traditional Afternoon Teas to delicious grazing boards, there’s something for everyone.

The Grand is an events venue and we don’t have accommodation on site, however we are pleased to offer guests accommodation at the nearby Ennios Boutique Hotel based on availability. If you have many guests travelling to your party, our central location makes it easy to find accommodation close by.

Yes, on-site parking is subject to availability and public car parks are also close by.  The Grand and Rubys is easily accessible for every one of your invitees
